About Us

Finding Wholeness in a Safe Place

Heal My Wounded Places (HMWP) is more than just a platform; it's a safe space. A safe space where you are allowed to be vulnerable. A space where acknowledging your emotions is Not a lack of Faith.

Here, we embrace scriptures, prayer, therapy, emotional wellness, and healing. We believe and trust God, embrace our Faith and Mental Health. It's a place where there is: No Stigma...No Shame...

HMWP is a space where you can come and feel seen, validated, and encouraged to FEEL as you HEAL. It's a place where your feelings aren't demonized and you are able to embrace DELIVERANCE and HEALING. A space where in times like "these", you are allowed to Feel what you Feel and Still be a person of FAITH.

Heal My Wounded Places was established on October 24, 2023, born from a deep desire to see people experience the transforming power of God's love in their healing journey.

Our Vision

To be a beacon of hope and healing in South Africa, empowering individuals to embrace emotional wellness and mental health through the unwavering truth of God's Word, creating a community where vulnerability leads to wholeness.

Our Mission

Heal My Wounded Places provides a nurturing and supportive environment where individuals can honestly confront their emotional pain without shame or judgment. We integrate biblical truth with practical tools, guiding our community to understand that true healing is a spiritual, emotional, and mental journey, firmly rooted in God's unfailing love and grace. We are dedicated to helping every person feel seen, heard, and deeply healed.

Jeremiah 30:17 CSB "But I will bring you health and will heal you of your wounds- this is the LORD's declaration- for they call you Outcast, Zion whom no one cares about."

What Kind of Support We Offer

HMWP is a faith-based community, not a clinical service. What you'll find here is pastoral care: prayer, scripture, testimony, and a community that has walked similar roads, offered by volunteers and leaders who bring their own lived experience of healing. Some of our contributors, like our conference speakers, also bring professional training in psychology and counselling, and we draw on that where we can. But we are not a substitute for therapy, medication, or emergency care. If you're in crisis or need clinical support, our Get Help page lists trusted South African professionals and helplines, please use them alongside, not instead of, this community.
